Sales Manager Manufacturing


You spot business opportunities easily and are eager to expand existing sales and drive new sales into the company in line with the department’s strategy and targets. You clearly understand the service provider industry and are able to convert customer’s challenges into revenue. Working with ambitious sales targets gives you energy. You will manage, grow and improve the sales forecast, process and opportunities resulting in continuous growth.


  • Make quotations and manage the sales pipeline

  • Prepare and execute visits of clients and prospects

  • Map and analyse competitors

  • Translate customer needs by building business cases, for new services and present cost price calculations

  • Manage customer relationships

  • Answer commercial enquiries

  • Prepare content for the website and customer events

  • Participate in events such as exhibitions and conferences

  • Take ownership in order to achieve the commercial objectives


  • At least 3 years of successful experience in a customer facing role in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry or with a CMO

  • Good communicator (fluent in Dutch and English), verbally, in writing and presenting

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Creative and commercial mind-set, ability to build effective relationships

  • Key competences for the job: entrepreneurship, ambition, result orientation, customer focus, persuasiveness, decisiveness, networker, negotiator

  • Other important characteristics are: analytical, self-starter, strong drive, team player, positive attitude, strong work ethic

  • Comfortable with presenting to groups and engaging with senior management down to operational staff within the customer organization

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably MS Outlook, MS Dynamics and LIMS

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Netherlands (EBPT-NL) is part of the Eurofins BioPharma Services network of laboratories and consists of the two chemistry labs: Eurofins PROXY Laboratories in Leiden and Eurofins Spinnovation Analytical in Oss and two microbiology labs: Business Unit MicroSafe Laboratorties in Leiden and Eurofins Bactimm in Nijmegen.

EBPT-NL offers laboratory testing and manufacturing services to the international life sciences market. As the Marketing & Sales (M&S) team of EBPT-NL is expanding, we are looking for a Sales Manager Manufacturing.

Core business of our Manufacturing department is small-scale fill & finish of drug product, for clinical and commercial use. Related services range from analytical method validation of transfer, release & stability testing and labelling & packaging.

The Sales Manager Manufacturing will report to the Director M&S. Location: Leiden or Oss.
